A free PDF of the Nantahala & Pisgah National Forest Map is offered by the USDA Forest Service. This map provides details on parks, wilderness areas, recreational facilities, scenic spots and lookouts, and natural history areas throughout the area. It is a great resource when planning your stay at Hinterlander.
Please note, this is a 51M PDF and will take several min to download from the USDA Forest Service site -- but it is worth it to get all the details.
FYI - To give you a general point of reference, Hinterlander is located near G3 -- or more specifically, Hinterlander is located on the western border of Linville Gorge Wilderness just below the red "65" marked on the map in the area between Route 221 and the crest of Linville Mountain.
